43053 University of Worcester passes Broughton Gifford on 18 April 2015 with the diverted 1B20 08:30 London to Swansea First Great Western service. Trains were being diverted due to track relaying work at Bourton, near Swindon. The single track Bradford Junction to Thingley line via Melksham was stretched to capacity with all these additional trains, so much so that the infrequent local trains on the line were cancelled for the day.
