43062 John Armitt leads the 1Z16 16:43 Derby Railway Technical Centre to Old Oak Common Network Rail New Measurement Train though Tackley on 21 May 2009, with 43014 on the rear. There are very limited choices when it comes to photographing southbound trains on the Banbury to Oxford line if the sun is out in the late evening, so this newly created spot near Tackley station seemed as good as anywhere for a picture of the 'Flying Banana'. Note the remnants of the cleared vegetation in the foreground, the removal of which has opened up the view nicely.
