43066 passes Beeston in hazy light on 11 September 1990 with the 08:30 St Pancras to Nottingham service. In the background is Beeston station, complete with disused goods shed. Also note the Blue Circle cement depot, which was a source of rail traffic. This has subsequently been demolished, whilst on the other hand, the area of waste ground on the right is now a housing estate.
