The star attraction at the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway's spring 2022 Diesel Gala was to have been a pair of DATS (Data Acquisition & Testing Services) HST power cars. Unfortunately one of the locos (43054) was declared a failure after it had arrived at the line, so only classmate 43066 saw any use. It is pictured here accelerating away from Horsenden Lane on 2 April 2022 with the 1C06 12:00 Princes Risborough to Chinnor service, which in contrast to the late running of a lot of the trains, actually arrived at the level crossing in the distance a few minutes early, and waited there until the correct time. This was a little worrying with so much cloud building up, but luckily the sun was in a large blue patch!
