43070 leads the 1O12 07:10 Edinburgh to Poole 'Wessex Scot' through Pangbourne cutting on 28 April 1993. All the Great Western Mainline HSTs used the lines in the foreground, which does not make such a good picture. However, this inter-regional train is running on the relief line, as booked, which provides a far better photographic angle. Unfortunately I only visited this location a couple of times. Naturally now it is inaccessible, as the health & safety people would have a fit if the public could still access this kind of location!
