With the 1,275 yard long Harringworth Viaduct prominent in the background, 43081 leads the diverted 08:39 Sheffield to St Pancras service along the freight only Corby line on 12 February 1995. Harringworth station (closed to passengers in 1948 and freight in 1966) can be seen just above the rear of the train. The signal box, just visible to the right of the station building, has now been moved to Pitsford & Brampton station on the Northampton & Lamport Railway. |
