43086 glistens in the late evening backlighting at Compton Beauchamp on 8 May 2016, as it heads towards the capital with the 1A29 16:10 Plymouth to Paddington GWR service. Only recently has it been possible to get an uninterrupted view of the entire train at this spot. Preparations for the much delayed electrification work have seen the removal of several trees from this location.
