Split second timing and a shutter speed of 1/2000sec are required here! The early morning fog had only just cleared, and had I arrived in time for the 6M50 07:55 Westbury to Bescot freight, there would have be no picture, as the gantry was barely visible through the fog. In the event 6M50 had passed just before I arrived, running 40 minutes early.
