A typically dramatic winter sky forms the backdrop to 43088 as it passes Uffington on 7 January 2012 with the 1A14 11:00 Bristol Temple Meads to Paddington First Great Western service. Note the recently completed embankment strengthening works near the rear of the train. This viewpoint is one of the few in the Uffington area that doesn't require any walking, as it is taken from the side of the Uffington to Fernham road.
