43094 passes Chilson in slightly hazy light on 17 August 2018 with the 1P18 06:42 Hereford to Paddington GWR service. This was running 10 minutes late, which according to GWR is still just classed as on time! Even allowing for this, their current punctuality record is absolutely appalling, with only 77.8% of trains arriving within 10 minutes of the booked time (June-July 2018). Compare that with the 'bad old days' of British Rail, when 88.4% was archived in June 1992, using the same criteria. No way do they deserve the title Great Western Railway, as there is nothing great about the company's extremely poor performance, and it reflects badly on the legacy of the real Great Western Railway (1835-1947).
