43098 arrives at Charlbury station with the 1W47 15:51 Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill First Great Western service on 9 June 2008, with 43016 on the rear. This fine uninterrupted view of the station has since been lost due to the construction of a second platform and footbridge, which although obviously a good thing as far as passengers are concerned, has made photography at this iconic station much more difficult.
