43101 Edinburgh International Festival races along the East Coat Mainline near Great Paxton on 20 September 1986 with the 1S07 08:00 Kings Cross to Aberdeen 'Aberdonian'. 43101 had been named two years earlier, the plates being unveiled at Edinburgh Waverly station, by opera singer Jessye Norman.
