43102 The Journey Shrinker 148.5 mph The World's Fastest Diesel Train brings up the rear of the 1B69 17:45 Nottingham to St Pancras International East Midlands Railway service at Braybrooke on 23 April 2021. 43274 is leading. This picture clearly shows the extensive works taking place in preparation for the electrification of the line to Market Harborough. Despite the fact that there was nothing at all going on, there was a single rail worker on site in a temporary building, presumably having an extremely easy (and boring!) day at work. The 1962 built Desborough water tower can just be seen in the distance.
