There is certainly no mistaking this location! Prominent nameboards at both ends of the station announce the faded splendour of Gleneagles as 43108 rolls in with the 1S15 12:00 Kings Cross to Inverness 'Highland Chieftain' GNER service on 28 April 1998. The elaborate station buildings are certainly out of all proportion to the small number of passengers that now use this station, and as can be seen here the buildings are mostly boarded up and out of use.
