43126 passes Bourton on 28 October 1992 with the 1A49 12:15 Bristol Temple Meads to Paddington service. Appropriately, this power car was supposed to be carrying the name City of Bristol at this time, yet only the associated crest appear to be visible, although the cheap 'tin' plates that were fitted at this time were notoriously difficult to see from certain angles. Proper cast plates were initially carried, and were later reinstated.
