A slightly arty view of Circourt Bridge, Denchworth, taken on 7 March 2016. 'Bristol 2015 European Green Capital' liveried 43126 heads east with the 1L42 07:30 Carmarthen to Paddington GWR service. This was running 45 minutes late, after getting delayed in the Cardiff area. This wide angle view includes not only the steel structure of the roadbridge (a modern replacement for the GWR girder bridge which had serious corrosion problems), but also clearly shows the piles for the forthcoming electrification masts, which will be positioned right up against the bridge.
