Superb lighting at Shrivenham on 15 June 2017, as 43126 passes the site of Ashbury Crossing with the 1L38 07:59 Swansea to Paddington GWR service. The Met Office had correctly predicted a couple of hours of complete cloud cover in the morning, after a sunny start, and before a largely sunny afternoon. However, during this gloomy spell, a tiny hole appeared in the cloud just as this train came into view, giving about 20 seconds of sunshine, with dark clouds in the background. Motto: always be prepared for the unexpected.
