43126 climbs Dauntsey Bank and passes Tockenham Wick on 29 October 1983 with the 1A57 12:58 Weston-super-Mare to Paddington service. Being one of the early recipients of the Executive livery the unit still carries the soon to be abandoned set numbers. At this time there were only two complete new liveried HSTs sets and 43126 had been one of the first power cars released in the new colours (along with 43125) only a few weeks before this picture was taken. Initially these two power cars worked with standard blue and grey coaches.
