43150 passes Trow Lane near Tockenham Wick on 20 April 1984 with 1B16 16:05 Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads service. Whilst not ideal from the lighting point of view, with the sun virtually straight down the track, it is one of the few pictures I have taken showing a HST with a test coach included in the formation. Unfortunately it is at the far end of the train, and only really apparent by its red and blue livery. The presence of two other people in the cab beside the driver also indicates that this is a test run. This wide open view has since been obscured by trees.
