43156 races past the site of Challow station on 17 May 1992 with the 1A22 09:00 Swansea to Paddington InterCity service. As I was reasonably close, and the train was travelling at approximately 125mph, obviously a fast shutter speed was required. Therefore this was taken at 1/2000sec f2.8 on my trusty old totally mechanical 1970s vintage Canon F1 camera. Fujichrome RF50 has ensured that the result is virtually grain free. The disturbed ground in the foreground is the result of work to reinstate the down relief line, the exit point for which has already been installed.
