43161 rounds the curve at Crofton with the 1A82 07:35 Plymouth to Paddington First Great Western service on 21 November 2006. Still wearing the original FGW purple livery, 43161 is just a couple of months away from being called to Brush for refurbishment, when a MTU engine would replace the original Paxman unit. It would emerge in the second version of the livery.
