The desecration of my favourite photographic vantage point of Circourt Bridge, Denchworth, was almost complete by the summer of 2016. 43162 leads the 1C17 14:00 Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads GWR service through the forest of masts on 15 August 2016, while the 1L62 12:28 Swansea to Paddington disappears into the distance. On the extreme right the chimney and surviving cooling towers of the disused Didcot Power Station can just be seen.
