43162 Borough of Stevenage passes Croome on 19 August 1995 with the 1E29 06:20 Plymouth to Newcastle service. 43162 was originally named in 1984, but the standard style nameplates were removed in 1990 at Laira and replaced by the crude thin modern style, which barely show up in the picture.
