43163 passes Compton Beauchamp in soft evening light on 27 June 1986 with the 1B60 18:45 Paddington to Cardiff Central service. I do not recall now whether this was running on just one power car, but it was certainly travelling much slower than usual, and was running 20 minutes late, so something was clearly wrong.
