While stood on my stepladder, slowly sinking into the mud of a field near Uffington on 1 December 2007, the opportunity was taken to take a broadside picture of one of the many HSTs that passed. This called for split second timing and 1/2000 sec shutter speed! Refurbished 43163 heads west with the 10:30 Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads First Great Western service.
