43164 passes Hungerford Common on 22 May 2012 with the 1A81 08:44 Penzance to Paddington First Great Western service. This was the last westbound train on the line for most of the rest of the day, as a fatality at Ufton Nervet Level Crossing closed the line shortly afterwards. The train involved in the fatality was the 1C83 12:18 Paddington to Taunton, which came to a stand at around 13:10. As 43164's train should have passed Ufton at around 13:05, presumably it passed the scene just moments before the accident.
