43168 looks superb in the crisp autumn light, as it rounds the curve near Aldermaston on 23 November 2007 with the 1C76 10:05 Paddington to Penzance First Great Western service. This view was ruined shortly afterwards by a radio mast, and a decade later by overhead electfrication masts.
