In perfect spring light, 43168 approaches the site of Oaksey station with the 1L67 14:31 Cheltenham to Paddington 'Cheltenham Spa Express' First Great Western service on 8 April 2010. The cutting here has recently been cleared of vegetation by Network Rail, opening up a view that hasn't been available for decades. However, looking at the young ash saplings on the left, this will not last very long!
