There was some kind of signalling problem at Hungerford on 24 September 2018, with trains stopped in both directions at one point. Here we see 43170 bringing up the rear of the 1C78 11:03 Paddington to Plymouth GWR service, as it slowly comes to a stand at the red signal next to the bridge, while hidden from view just the other side of the bridge, the late running 1K17 11:41 Bedwyn to Paddington DMU is doing the same.
