The first signs of spring are evident in the lineside trees at Wolvercote on 10 April 2010, as 43171 heads south with the 1P31 07:10 Hereford to Paddington First Great Western service. Although not evident here, there is a large lake behind the trees on the left. The Oxford Canal on the right, and Port Meadow, which is just on the other side of the bridge regularly floods in winter. There can be quite a lot of water in this vicinity at times! |
