The 1Q23 07:52 Bristol Kingsland Road to Derby RTC Network Rail test train rounds the curve on the approach to Shipton station on 19 February 2026, with 43301 leading and 43303 bringing up the rear. This train traverses the Cotswold Line every month, and I wouldn't normally bother to photograph it in such poor light. However, with zero chance of any sunshine, I decided to visit this location, which would be hopeless for photography had the sun been out.
