455868 & 455709 pass Amen Corner on 21 June 2024 with the 2C32 11:08 Reading to Waterloo South Western Railway service. 455868 was painted into BR blue and grey livery in March 2024 to mark the end of the class in normal service. However, their intended replacement, the troubled Class 701s, have been severely delayed, so for the moment the Class 455s soldier on.
