Jubilee 4-6-0 45596 Bahamas runs alongside the River Severn at Purton on 23 April 1994 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z18 07:13 Trowbridge to Crewe 'Welsh Marches Express' railtour. It might seem that the train is going in the wrong direction here, and indeed it was a convoluted route, heading northwards initially via Bristol and Cheltenham to Worcester, before retuning to Gloucester and on to Severn Tunnel Junction (hence the picture here). It then headed north via Pontypool and Hereford to Crewe. Bahamas worked the train between Worcester and Crewe.
