47052 passes through Pangbourne cutting on 28 April 1993 with the 4S59 12:32 Southampton Maritime to Coatbridge freightliner. The residents of the blocks of flats in the background certainly had a superb view of trains passing through the station. Now of course the view is obstructed by the 25Kv electrification wires and gantries.
