47503 approaches Cholsey on 31 January 1987 with the 1F35 14:00 Oxford to Paddington service. Not being an Old Oak Common loco, it was a bit of a surprise to see this working a Network SouthEast service. It wouldn't have been such a surprise it if had turned up on one of the many inter-regional trains that also traversed this line at the time.
