47503 passes Lock 61 on the Kennet & Avon Canal at Crofton on 25 September 1982, as it heads towards the capital with the 1A67 11:05 Paignton to Paddington service. Note that Lock 60 in the background does not yet have any gates. The route had not been fully restored at this time, and was not open for through navigation. This is one of the very few railway pictures that I took using a 28mm wide angle lens on my Canon A1.
