47503 The Geordie passes Didcot North Junction on 22 June 1989 with the 1V97 15:18 Manchester Piccadilly to Paddington service. The fields visible behind the train have now all been built over. The Ladygrove housing estate was built in the 1990s, extending the town of Didcot to the north of the original Great Western Mainline for the first time.
