47508 S.S. Great Britain speeds past Ascott-under-Wychwood's last remaining semaphore signal (since replaced) with the 1B16 09:55 Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill service on 10 November 1985. The loco had been re-named four months earlier, with the S.S. Great Britain nameplates replacing the original Great Britain ones. For a brief period it ran in service unnamed. Note that I am being watched by one of the occupants of the field!
