When Honeybourne station reopened in 1981 only very basic facilities were provided, and the desolate feel was not helped by the abandoned platform opposite the one reopened platform. Recent years have seen the line doubled and the station rebuilt. The old order is pictured on 30 March 1985, as 47509 Albion arrives with the 1A31 08:05 Hereford to Paddington service.
