47513 Severn passes Whitehill (between Finstock and Combe) on 22 August 1985 with the 13:12 Great Malvern to Paddington 'Cotswold & Malvern Express'. This was booked for a HST, and it was certainly a surprise when this turned up. Obviously the Cotswold Line does not fully exploit the HST's speed advantage, so it's no surprise that this was only running ten minutes late.
