47525 passes Kings Langley on 28 October 1995 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z45 04:20 York to MoD Pig's Bay 'Pigs Trotter' railtour. I clearly messed this up, pressing the shutter just slightly too late. I was probably trying to avoid getting the shadow of the catenary on the loco, but with a Pentax 6x7 there is no second chance! Despite the bad timing, I have included this picture as it shows the curious hybrid livery that the loco wore for a few weeks in late 1995. It was being repainted into Railfreight Distribution colours, but was put back into service half way through the repaint with only the cabs painted, and the rest of the loco still in very faded InterCity livery!
