47525 runs along the down relief line at South Moreton on 6 August 1988 with the 1M09 14:00 Poole to Nottingham InterCity service. This was in the good old days, when a pleasant afternoon could be spent at this location, watching a procession of Class 47 & 50 hauled trains, all viewed from a quiet farm occupation bridge, which had a low parapet that doubled as a seat. Unfortunately the modern replacement requires a stepladder just to see over the top!
