47537 Sir Gwynedd / County of Gwynedd approaches Wolvercote Junction on 14 June 1983 with the 1M40 17:05 Poole to Derby service. This was one of the first pictures that I took at what later became one of my favourite photographic locations in the Oxford area, although it hardly ever seemed to be used by anyone else! As can be seen here, it was completely clear of bushes in the early 1980s. Unfortunately this was not to last, and for some time now has been very heavily overgrown.
