Luxury provision for the commuters! Instead of the usual Network SouthEast Mk1s, 47540 has a rake of mainly first class InterCity Mk2s in tow, as it approaches Culham on 22 June 1990 with the 1F54 18:17 Paddington to Oxford service. Also included is a Mk1 catering vehicle. The reason for this unusual stock is presumably because the loco had worked the 1A60 13:10 Plymouth to Paddington train a little earlier in the day. |
