47543 runs slowly along the down relief line at Pilning on 2 October 1996, prior to working through the Severn Tunnel with the 5M24 14:20 Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff TPO empty stock. 47543 had less than two years left in traffic at this time, and was cut up at Booth Roe, Rotherham in April 1998.
