47558 Mayflower passes Hinksey Yard on the approach to Oxford with the 1M07 13:02 Portsmouth Harbour to Manchester Piccadilly service on 14 March 1987. 47558 originally entered service as D1599 in June 1964. It became 47027 with the advent of TOPS and then 47558 when ETH fitted in December 1980. Its final renumbering came in July 1995 when it became 47722.
