47558 Mayflower passes Rangeworthy on 4 September 1986 with the 1S61 07:35 Cardiff Central to Glasgow Central service. This was at a time when BR were busy littering the timetable with named trains in a bid to add prestige to certain services. Consequently this one is called 'The Principality'. As none of them carried headboards, the whole effect was probably wasted on the general public, who most likely weren't in the least interested anyway!
