47579 James Nightall GC approaches Circourt Bridge, Denchworth, on 8 May 1987 with the 3A03 13:15 Bristol Temple Meads to Paddington parcels. Very unphotogenic backlighting, but this is the only photo I have of 47579 in this unusual livery. Only four Class 47s ever featured this variation of the large logo livery. Even without the Cockney Sparrow logo, there is no mistaking that this is a Stratford allocated loco!
