47581 Great Eastern passes Margaretting on 8 May 1985 with the 1C38 09:35 Norwich to Liverpool Street service. There is clearly a difference in the shade of BR blue paint on the loco, compared with the coaches. With hindsight I should have visited East Anglia more often in the 1980s to photograph Stratford's Class 47s with their smart silver grey roofs.
