Running 20 minutes late, and with the light all but gone, 47583 County of Hertfordshire arrives at Radley station on 20 July 1989 with the 1F56 18:04 Paddington to Oxford Network SouthEast service. This was one of the few loco hauled trains to call at the station, which explains the door being opened near the rear of the train, long before it comes to a stop!
